St Paulus Pre-Primary & Primary School
St Paulus Pre-Primary and Primary School is an independent, dual-medium, co-educational Catholic School nestled against a quiet green koppie in Brummeria, Pretoria East.
Our school opened its doors over 60 years ago and has since grown to become a well-equipped institution that offers holistic education to every child. As accredited members of ISASA and the CSB, we are committed to a well-structured curriculum and we provide an holistic education.

Pre-Primary
Our Pre-Primary school caters for children from the ages 4-6. At St Paulus, we are passionate about giving pupils the best possible foundation on which to build their lives. Above and beyond our superior academics, we instil values and traits into our children that will aid them in becoming productive, valuable members of society. We have an aftercare facility for your convenience where children receive a healthy meal and are able to play and are productively occupied until they are collected.
Foundation
We are dedicated to promoting every child’s social, emotional, intellectual and physical development. We are also committed to ensuring that our curriculum is meaningful and reflects the needs of our ever-changing society. We endeavour to teach our children the values of truth and kindness, and to guide them from a young age on their journey to becoming responsible and accountable individuals.
Intersen
The Intersen Phase uses the CAPS curriculum as a springboard for learning. We emphasise creative thinking and knowledge application by introducing an holistic approach to academics, which stems from a unique and comprehensive curriculum. We integrate technology and expose children to different learning styles, ensuring that all are active learners.
We are a dual-medium Catholic education school
Although all our subjects are taught in English, we offer both English Home Language and Afrikaans Huistaal as subjects.
We also teach Conversational Sepedi from Grade 1.
Sports and Activities
Whilst we are renowned for our carefully crafted and delivered academic programme, St Paulus believes in developing children comprehensively. Part of our approach to this includes an extensive sports and extracurricular programmes. In addition to teaching new skills and possibly uncovering great talent, this ensures that our pupils are fit, healthy, and constantly stimulated.

Campus Facilities
Our school is well equipped with a range of facilities. We boast a Computer Centre, Multi Media Centre, Meditation Garden, Recycling Village, School Clothing Shop, Tuckshop, Therapy Rooms and a Chapel/Prayer Room. For sport we have three large sport fields, a mini sport field, large swimming pool and a heated Learn-To-Swim pool, tennis-and netball courts. We also have an Aftercare Centre to ensure your child is safe, productively active and well fed.
