How does one capture the life of a school in words?

As this is not possible, I invite you to browse through our website or to come and visit us – at St Paulus every day is Open Day.

We have always considered ourselves to be Pretoria’s best-kept secret – nestled against a koppie which teems with over 85 species of birdlife and small animals, including hedgehogs and tortoises.

Our school is built on beautiful grounds with 26 hectare adorned with well-established, indigenous trees. Our Pre-School is an integral part of our school but it has its own fully enclosed space with its beautiful shade-trees and play areas. It also boasts a rigorous curriculum which balances creativity, innovation, and self-discovery with the acquisition of essential skills. This ensures that all the foundational literacy and numeracy skills, as well as fine and gross motor and sensory integration skills are entrenched as our little ones progress to Grade 1.

As an educational institution we strive to be cutting-edge with a relevant curriculum which emphasises the core skills, incorporates the latest technological innovations, develops critical thinking and social awareness and which prepares our young people for life in the 21st century.

And at the heart of what we stand for are our Dominican charism and our Catholic/Christian ethos.  We are committed to growing young people who have a passion for Truth and Justice and who commit to serving God through service to Humanity and all of Creation. At St Paulus Children matter. Our call through education is to help each and every child, in the words of Catherine of Siena, to “Be who God meant you to be and you will set the World on Fire.”

We look forward to partnering with you as part of your child’s educational journey.
